Darren Till isn’t going to waste time on Jake Paul callout: ‘He’s not taking it’
Darren Till isn’t going to waste his time on Jake Paul.
On Saturday night, Till picked up his third win of the year, brutally knocking out Luke Rockhold in the main event of Misfits Boxing 22. Not only did Till cement himself as one of the faces of Misfits, but he also claimed the the Misfits bridgerweight title. And he did so with ease.
“I felt like I could have knocked him out at any point,” Till said at the post-fight press conference. “I wanted to just test things, go to the body, and stuff like that. No disrespect to him, but he felt very stiff in there. To be honest, it was really easy. It was too easy. I can’t lie, it was just so easy.”
Immediately after his win, Till laid the foundation for a possible matchup with former British boxing champion Carl Froch, hurling insults at him from the ring. It was a somewhat surprising choice for Till, as most assumed “The Gorilla” would set his sights on the top influencer boxing stars like Jake Paul or KSI. But Till says he’s being realistic about where he’s at right now.
